Throwback to Lil' Mama

The other night I had a legitimate dream about finding a huge stock of my favorite chapstick under my bathroom sink. I woke up very optimistic and checked in my bathroom but sadly found no such thing. But my dream did inspire me to showcase my favorite YSL lipgloss (discussed in previous post here) and put it to the test. Below is a series of pictures of my mouth (sorry for the awkward close-ups). The first one is of my lips with nothing on it. Next (top right) is how they look after putting the Maybelline Baby Lips (no color) chapstick on. Then (bottom left) is how they look after applying YSL Rouge Pur Couture (Beige Aquarelle). And the final one is of my whole face. All done up. 

(Note: There's no filter on these photos so the color of the gloss should be fairly accurate, if anything it's a bit more pink in real-life) 

As I mentioned in my other post, what I love about the lip gloss is the fact that it isn't sticky like most. For someone with long hair like myself, this is imperative. So I decided to next see how it help up post-granola bar breakfast AND CHECK OUT THE RESULTS. Not a crumb in site. This is a major feat of engineering, my friends. I'm not sure how they did it, but it's incredible. 

Below is the outfit I wore to work yesterday. I have a TON of navy in my wardrobe (can you ever have too much?) and because it's a neutral, I love paring it with bright colors, other neutrals, and pieces that stand out. I highly suggest a navy pencil skirt for any girl seeing as it's so versatile and classic. I promise you won't regret it.

Necklace: Campus Floral (of course)

And of course, I couldn't forget my Snow White Swatch (another essential for any outfit).
