Easter Style

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe how long it's been since I blogged! My apologies for keeping you all waiting for so long, I know it must have been really rough. This week has been absolute chaos/mayhem for me from writing four papers (1 down, 3 to go), studying for an impossible French test, memorizing lines for two different productions, and going to rehearsal most nights, so blogging was a bit neglected. But I thought I would take a little break from my schoolwork to talk to you all about putting together the perfect Easter Sunday outfit.

I looooove Easter, not only for its religious significance, but it's the first REALLY Spring holiday! (St. Patrick's Day only kind of counts because we were like in the middle of a snowstorm this year for that.)  This means that we can break out all of our pretty sundresses, wear ridiculous hats, and eat Cadbury chocolate eggs all day. At least that's my plan.

Here are some suggestions on easy outfits you can wear for Easter that anyone can pull off.

pastels

Pastels are flattering on literally every skin tone and are easy to find in just about any store this time of year. This look is perfect for brunch with the fam or an Easter egg hunt. You'll blend right in with the eggs.
lace

HM lace dress, / Dorothy Perkins wedge shoes / Monsoon brown handbag / Accessorize pearl necklace / Reger by Janet Reger floppy hat

Lace is such a classic look, you really can't go wrong. I love pairing it with blush tones and pearls especially. And in case you need to look just devastatingly fabulous, I've included a subtle hat in this look.
florals

Dorothy Perkins high wedge sandals / Lalù woven purse / Jeweliq coral necklace / Kelly & Diane Floral Print Pencil Skirt - Ladies | Stein Mart / Factory two-pocket chambray shirt

And of course, what better way to celebrate the coming of Spring than with floral prints? Choose just one item to have the floral print to avoid looking too busy/like an exploding garden.

What will your Easter outfit consist of?

Excited That: My French test went surprisingly well ish.
Looking Forward To: Going to Indy this Friday with my love.
Not Looking Forward To: My doctor's appointment directly beforehand.
Should Be: Starting my other 3 papers.
Planning on Making: Pineapple fried rice for dinner.
Random Fact About Me: I love anything Oreo flavored, but not actual Oreos (I may have already shared that).
Days Until Christmas: 252
