I used to be a pretty die-hard silver fan, but gold has been growing on me these past couple of years. These shoes give the appearance of looking fancy without the price (on clearance for $10), which is exactly the kind of look I like. I think one of my favorite ways to wear gold is by wearing neutral clothes with a pop of metallic in the form of my accessories. It looks nice without giving the appearance that I've tried too hard. At least I hope it doesn't. But either way, I'm excited to find other things in my closet to pair these shoes with :)

Gold has really grown on me in the recent years. Silver is still preferred, but gold is fun and every where more so than it was when I was growing up. I think it's something that I had to learn to appreciate.
