Four Eyes & High-Waisted Jeans

This is my "I don't like that this feels and looks like Fall but it's still August" face.

Flannel: Target (old, similar) // Jeans: American Eagle // Tote: Target // Boots: Hunter

For whatever reason, I have a lot to say today. So here we go.

The other day, Husband & I were watching a fashion show where they were talking about how high-waisted jeans work really well on tall people. Then he turned to me & asked if I owned a pair, to which I said no. But that got me thinking. And wanting. So the next weekend I went to the place where I have gotten pretty much all of my jeans since the 7th grade, American Eagle. And as luck would have it, all of their jeans were on sale for $30 :) I'm wearing the sky-high rise style, but they also had a regular high-rise pair that sit about an inch lower so depending on how long your torso is, you can go with either pair. They are incredibly comfortable and look smashing with tucked in shirts. But I'm open to more suggestions on how to style them so feel free to give me some input!

And now for the tote bag.

I go back and forth from my parents house a lot. I work and workout near where they live which means I often end up showering at their house before I go to work since my apartment is way over on the other side of town. So I have (had) a giant red tote bag I would use to ferry all my toiletries back & forth. Unfortunately, it died a few weeks ago :( This Target bag I got on super clearance (like $12 super clearance) is my new replacement. And I really like it. Why does Target always have to have the perfect solution for everything?

And now for the glasses.

I don't wear my glasses often during the day because they give me vertigo. But sometimes my contacts bother me to noooooo end and then I just have to take them out as soon as I get home. And the instant relief feels amazing. I mean contacts are great & all, but once in a while I just need a break. So enjoy seeing me in my Tiffany & Co. glasses :) It doesn't happen too often.

Watching: Freaky Friday with da hubs.
Just Ate: Froyo.
Excited For: The weekend!
And: The company picnic! My dad & I have big plans to win the three-legged race.
Days Until Christmas: 133
