$10 Tunic

Me checking to see if our neighbors are going to run us over.

Tunic: Old Navy // Necklace: J. Crew Factory // Jeans: American Eagle // Purse: Coach // Watch: JORD (c/o) // Sandals: Old Navy

I have a mild obsession with Old Navy. So sue me. They have tons of adorable, trendy, and suuuper affordable items that I don't feel guilty about buying (at least not most of the time). They often make knock-offs of more expensive J. Crew and Banana Republic items, but lately they've been coming out with more of their own original designs (which I am a BIG fan of). Like any store, however, some of their pieces are total misses. But that's ok because 9 times out of 10, I can find something I LOVE there. Their new Spring collection is quite amazing and I highly suggest you check it out. My tunic and sandals are both new arrivals from there and I can already tell they're going to get a LOT of wear.

This tunic has several pros and cons, which I shall now discuss.

Pros: $10!!!!, stripes (I love stripes), not very see-through, long in the front AND back (so it's leggings friendly!), easy to layer over button-downs or under scarves/cardigans/jackets, has a neutral color scheme so it can be paired with any number of patterns/colors/washes.

Cons: Slits on the side (I like slits, but these go rather high so I suggest wearing a tank underneath or high-rise jeans), not the softest fabric in the world (but not scratchy enough that it drove me crazy).

As you can see, the pros totally outweigh the cons, therefore you neeeeeed this tunic. Hurry and get it before it's gone! Fit is true to size and it comes in several other colors (stripes and solid)

Loving: This warm weather! We were able to take lots of blog photos today and I didn't freeze to death.
Happy That: Husband & I got to go on a Valentine's Date last night to Cheesecake Factory! I was out of town last Sunday so we had to wait a week to actually celebrate together haha.
Looking Forward To: The Bachelor tomorrow! Makes Mondays sliiiiightly more bearable.
Days Until Christmas: 308
