As I mentioned earlier, gingham is a huge trend this spring/summer. This makes me super happy because I love gingham. I mean I love pretty much any pattern that comes in navy and white. I saw this fabulous gingham motorcycle jacket from J. Crew a few months ago and I instantly started drooling all over it. I even tried it on when I was in Indy and was tempted to splurge on it. But nearly $200 on a trendy jacket did NOT seem like a good idea. So of course I sale stalked it for weeks and it finally went on sale!

It arrived about two weeks ago and I already have come up with lots of different ways to style it that I'm sure will make their way onto the blog in the coming weeks. I decided to keep the rest of my outfit pretty simple this time so the jacket would stand out more, but of course I couldn't resist a few pops of red :)

The quality is VERY good, much more like the high quality of J. Crew clothes several years ago. It's made of a sturdy material that holds its shape well and has fun red piping on the interior. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this jacket.
