So every year I buy my annual pair(s) of dark wash skinny jeans from American Eagle. And then throughout the year whenever I do wear pants (which is not that often) it's one of those pairs. However, within MONTHS of getting them, I notice the beginnings of fading in the knees. And it drives me insane. Literally. There really aren't that many things that irritate me more than faded knees in my jeans. So I am now entreating you all to help me. Are there ways to prevent this from happening?? (I already wash my jeans inside out and in cold water.) Or are there other brands of dark wash jeans that don't fade as easily? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
Happy Friday Eve!!! Thanks for stopping by :)
p.s. Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the fact that my shoes, nails, AND lips all match??? I was really on my game that day.

My gap pair faded evenly and lasted me a good three years. I laid them to rest this past spring. I'm looking for a good pair too though. I would assume AE uses a less saturated denim, thus the quick fading.
ReplyDeleteI also noticed AE jeans have become less structured than they were in the past :( so my hubby convinced me to switch to Levi's and I'm pretty happy.
ReplyDeleteLove your outfit, and that lipstick is gorgeous on you~~
