If I Were To Go To The Kentucky Derby...

Husband & I spent a lovely weekend in Louisville, Kentucky with some friends for business and fun. I had never spent much time in Louisville before this other than eating at their delicious Cracker Barrels whilst on road trips. And let me tell you, I love Louisville. It's simply beautiful. And there ARE horses everywhere! I always thought that was a stereotype, but it's really not. The homes are grand, but not tacky in any way. The food was delicious and people are just classy there, for the most part. I like the Southern style. And I have a new goal in life: To attend the Kentucky Derby. Let me show you a few pictures to explain why I want to go.

And should I ever actually be invited, below is a good option for what I would wear.

I strongly feel that American culture needs to integrate hats into our fashion more. Our friends across the pond clearly have figured it out, why can't we? Hats are going to be the next big thing in the U.S., mark my words.

Here are a few pics from our trip.

Louisville has castles?

Our friends had a cat. And he stole my heart.

Teddy Bridgewater!

Mad props to the guy behind Husband's head who photobombed us with his eyes.

4th row seats at the Cardinals game, not too shabby.

What I Should Be Doing: French homework.
Thankful: Our house has power/internet
Excited For: This week to be over.
Days Until Christmas: 36
