I asked Husband the other night what time he needed to get up in the morning to leave for the airport and he told me 6 AM. Which is disgusting. He was super tired though and fell asleep before I could finish my bedtime routine (a 20 minute ordeal). I naively went to bed after I was done and assumed Husband had set his alarm already, like he always does before going to bed.
Wrong.
I randomly woke up at 5:45, rather disoriented. I rolled over and just at that moment, Husband literally gasped and then jumped out of bed. It's an absolute miracle he woke up in time. 13 minutes later, he was out the door. I woke up to a text an hour and a half later saying that he made it in time and was "sitting next to High School Musical 5, oh my gosh!". Silly Husband, there are only 3 HSMs in the canon, therefore what he would have encountered would have been HSM 4.
Thankfully, he'll be back soon so I don't have to find too many random things to do to keep myself occupied. But here's my list so far of things to do to entertain oneself when your significant other is out of town.
1.
2.
3. Skype your best friend in Cali.
4. Eat dinner with your parents.
5. Sleep in. Ish. (Husband likes to wake up at like. 6:30/7 AM ish everday and it always causes me to wake up earlier than I'd like.
6. Go to the gym 3 times in 48 hours.
7. Paint your nails.
8. Try out 5 different hairstyles.
9. Take an exfoliating bubble bath.
10. Blog.
11. Work ahead on homework.
13. Clean out your car.
14. Tidy up your apartment.
15. Watch Gilmore Girls and Frasier.
16. Research new sunglasses for summer.
17. Work on surprise anniversary gift for your boo. (Don't worry, you'll find out what it is in two ish months.)
18. Respond to emails you've been ignoring.
19. Text your significant other incessantly.
19. Text everyone else you know. Incessantly.
20. Eat ice cream.
21. Paint a water color.
22. Go see the doctor, as per the usual. (I got really sick last time Husband was out of town so true to form, I got sick again today. It's like a curse.)
23. Apply to audition for the Broadway version of "Frozen".
24. Meticulously shave your legs.
25. Sleep in the middle of your bed.
26. Optimistically research Disney World vacations. Don't tell Husband.
Needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to him coming home. I have big plans to be super productive before he gets home so that we can maybe hopefully potentially go on a date together later. We shall see.
